IMPORTANT MEDICARE  UPDATE !

Home ]  Back ]  [ Education ] [ What's New? ]

If you have Medicare Insurance you can now afford to get serious about your diabetes care.

Since July 1, 1998 your Medicare  policy will now cover blood glucose test strips, lancets and meters whether or not you use insulin to control your diabetes. Medicare will also pay for outpatient diabetes education.

This is great news! If you have Medicare we encourage you to use these new benefits to help control your diabetes and reduce the risk of complications.

Medicare Approved Classes are Available at the Diabetes Self-Management Training Center
