Telephone Calls

We realize that in some instances it is more convenient for you to call and discuss
your situation over the telephone rather than schedule an office visit, (i.e., reporting blood sugars and/or insulin adjustments)You may do so by contacting our "Triage Line" which is open from 8:30am until 5:00pm - excluding lunch from 12:00 noon - 1:00pm. During the lunch hour, there will always be someone to assist you in the event of an emergency. There may be some instances when we are assisting other patients and you will reach our voicemail system.  Our voicemail system is designed to provide our patients with an adequate amount of time to leave a detailed message. Please be aware that we check our voicemail messages regularly, so leaving numerous messages will only delay your return call. You must understand that some situations cannot be resolved over the telephone. In these cases, no advice will be given as you will be asked to come into the office for an evaluation.

Overall, it is our preference to schedule an office visit to discuss any questions pertaining to your lab results.
